Stained glass at Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, San Francisco. This is a modern church (1971) that the guidebook calls "strikingly ugly," and it's true that there's not much to be said for the concrete exterior. but I loved the glass. In this case you're seeing the shadow of a metalwork Christ on the cross flanked by two angels (or birds, I don't remember).
