Banteay Srei is a long way from both Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, but worth the trip because the carvings are in such extraordinarily good condition.

In this photo, you can see the detail in the carvings on the walls and the apsara (dancers). At most temples, these are much more worn. Beautiful.
