Lower Bay station, Toronto. This is a strange story: in the 1960s when the TTC first opened the east-west subway line, they tried out a different way of routing trains that involved using the lower platform at Bay station. After about six months, they decided to use the routing that's in use to this day, and closed the lower platform. It's used for TTC training and movie shoots, and had never been open to the public before the Doors Open 2007 event, so it was fun to see it. They were showing clips from movies, it's amazing how many it's been used in - usually dressed up to be dirtier than the TTC usually is, and there were a lot of spare New York transit signs lying around.
