"Aeneas, Anchises, and Ascanius" by Bernini at Galleria Borghese in Rome. Anchises is the grandfather being carried by his son Aeneas, and he holds the household gods. Ascanius is Aeneas's son, but he's not visible in this shot as be's behind Aeneas. The three of them are leaving Troy, which is burning behind them. This is a popular story in Rome because Aeneas is a demi-god and hero, and after he left Troy he went on to found Rome. (This appears to be an almost but not quite entirely separate origin story from the one of Romulus and Remus.)
